turn was about five years in the making. i can't believe it's finally almost out in the world, it feels very surreal. you spend so much time making something so deeply personal and holding it close to your chest for so long, and suddenly it doesn't belong to just you anymore. 

every song starts as a confessional, but eventually becomes a means of connection. in it's fully realized state, i made this record for you, and i hope that you find a little solace in this album. i think we could all stand to take a step back and think about how far we've come, the lessons we've learned, and how we can best use the time that we've been given. use this record as a map for those musings.
